WE ARE PART OF CHANGING THEIR EXPERIENCE...

There has been growing evidence that women and girls who play sports are increasingly likely to excel on both the playing field and in life. We believe that girls given the opportunity to play team sports will become confident, goal driven leaders. Sports psychology author Jim Tayler, Ph.D., says that "sports build confidence, develop focus, and teaches about emotional control".

#girlsinsportsproject will provide the funds for our GIRLS ONLY - Youth Player Development League(YPDL)(#ShePLays), as well as local youth girls teams, programs and organizations, that will propel young women into confident successful leaders who excel on both the court and in life!

All Girls Club ‘Select’ Team:: In-house games & tourneys, as well as compete in the local AAU circuit.

WORKSHOPS

A series of interactive empowerment workshops for all P4Y members and participants.

BUILDING A SISTERHOOD

By supporting the #girlsinsportsproject you will allow for young ladies to start gaining key characteristics at an earlier age through sports play, provide health & wellness guidance, as well as empowerment workshops, discussion forums, monthly meetings on philanthropy & community service as well as group outings.

This project is lead by Coach Audrey Taylor, 2019 USA Today National Coach of the Year & head varsity coach at Franklin High School (Somerset, NJ). Who has dedicated her life to uplifting youth through sports play.

THE GIFT THAT KEEPS ON GIVING…

#GirlsInSportsPoject will provide the funds for our GIRLS ONLY – Youth Player Development League(#SHEPlays) and club team.

The ‘Girls in Sports Project’ strives to enhance & increase the availability of girls’ sports programs at an earlier age, provide health & wellness education and empower girls through sport play. The project will start with a ‘Youth Player Development’ basketball league & club (‘select’) team while incorporating empowerment workshops, discussion forums, monthly meetings on philanthropy & community service as well as group outings. Per our evaluation of the initial project, we will add additional sports. Stay tuned!
